Altrincham Golf Club, Cheshire is based at Altrincham municipal golf course eight miles south of Manchester City Centre.
The Club is run and managed by the members who work closely with Trafford Community Leisure Trust who manages the golf course.
There is a driving range and shop on site and Trafford's resident pro is available for consultation.
The course, which is 18 holes, par 71 and 6385 yards, is set in attractive surroundings with Timperley brook running throughout.
Although technically parkland, the open and firm nature of the course means that, particularly in the summer months, it plays very much like a links with tight, firm lies and fast greens and provides a challenging test for any standard of golfer.
The Club was established in 1935 and is a recognised member of both the Cheshire and the English Golf Unions.
